Right this has probably been a topic on here before, as you know i have a convertible, i bought four screens as i got them at a cheap price.

I went to my local ICE installer and when i showed him the four screens he laughed and said if i put screens in my rear headrests i will look like a knob :D.

I know some of you on here will think 2 screens is chavvy enough, but i think four screens says look at me i am a show off, especially with the roof down, and the normal saying is "who is watching the screens at the rear", my answer to that is everyone at a cruz or a meet, but i am still in two minds, if i go with the two i will have two for sale, What do you think?

2 or 4?

I'm biased towards the M3 and think you should not put any in. The car is what folk should be looking at IMO.

Good luck with whatever you decide on.

I would sell the screens and gat a CF airbox and A-N. The induction noise off this alone is awesome. I have fitted one to an M3 cab incidently

Depends what look you're going for!!!!!

I wouldn't bother with them in the rear (ooh err!!!).

If you're going for massive mods, go for 5, or even more screens if you can get a good deal on them!!

Yes i have a pioneer head unit screen up front, so with two in the front headrests, that would make three altogether, 5 screens in bootymans car looks the business, not to mention the rest, but i just dont think four screens in my car will have the same effect, Bootymans car is a complete master piece in my eyes, but 215M3 i totally understand where you are coming from thats why i posted this question. By the way 215M3 have you got any vids or pictures of the CF airbox and A-N, i would like to see or hear how it sounds.

Don't put any in.

Screens in headrests in big family cars make sense.

What you're suggesting is standard pimp-my-ride wrongness.

Fight it. Fight that urge. Don't give in to the wrong side.

At the end of the day it's your ride.

bootymans car is a show car so he can have as many screens as he wants! your car i think should just have the front headrests done, ive considered the rear ones on my cab but i dont want to look like a knob! front headrest tvs are cool IMO

Bajandaan

I have a few pics of the one i on stalled my M3, but not the CF on the Cab i did. I don't have any sound videos, but utube may well have them. The noise from 2-3k in the right gear just gets folk on high streets stopping and looking round at the sound. In tunnels it's awesome as well. Very hard to describe the noise. Where do you stay and i'll see if anyone on S14power lives ner you with one.

Sorry about the condition of my car but you will get the jist

One last pic. My car had standard bottom end and cams, modded head and this CF airbox and my power curve was a straight line and hit the limiter before it started to dip

 NONE! But if you like them then only the front headrests. Rears will make you look like a wally, not a show off, simply an idiot. Just IMO

Or install the 2 in your fronts, then sell the other 2 so that when the installed 2 go worng you'll have to restore the car to it's original beauty.

215m3 that engine looks nice so far, i was after a carbon fibre system for my car but did not see the point of spending £1000 for 25bhp as thats what the guy wanted to charge, if it was a bit cheaper and i mean a lot cheaper i would have probably considered it, as for the red colour, was that powder coated, looks good. I am in the Peckham area.

When they are installed and if i still have my internet connection as SKY are peeing me off, i might post some piccys. I did have 2 screens before but they were pinched by my neighbour who was high on crack or something.

The red paint is VHT red from Frosts. Is is a crinkle finish like the black.

a £1000 is a little over the top for the CF air box, but once you get the maxx a-n system it probably is closer to £1000. It is more than just adding 25bhp. It brings the power band in sooner and you could add in at a later stage a miltek or supersprint exhaust, cams and this would give you close to 250 bhp. Mine had a ported head with larger valves and that's why the power curve does not drop off.

Back to the subject, it's your choice for the screens
