Hi guys, are all Mtec 2 kits universal to the model of an E30. Basically someone is selling me a kit of a non cab, and i would just like to know if it will fit straight onto a cab.

Is your cab post - facelift? if not then there is extra work you have to do...

I am 3/4 way through fitting a tech II kit to a pre facelift car - it has been ok.
For the sills you need to cut about an inch off the edge - you can see the moulded crease, cut down slightly at either side of the part on the sill that attaches to the front wing which will allow it to push tighter. I foound the best way of fitting the brackets was to offer up the sill and mark with a pencil on the car where the brackets should be positioned horizontally and then take your measurement vertically.
An old bracket with the lugs broken off allows you to get the distance between the holes correct to fit the bracket
