In the middle of fitting a Tech II kit to a pre facelift cab (Plastic doesn't rust). Read the article by Mr Lee, however I don't have any holes on the rear panel for the shock on the mount to slide into? Any suggestions/easier way before I start to Malky (scottish term for hammer) the back panel?

good news is the prefacelift cabs do not share the same problem as the tin tops, the tin tops have a different rear wheel arch profile and this makes fitting the tech 2 kit difficult and requires some bodywork/filling/cutting.
give me a day or so and i will send you a link to explain how to fit the tech2 bumper mounts to a preface lift car. its on a yank site which i cannot remember right now.
and do not bother fitting facelift lights to your older car, will not look right IMO and would be difficult from a bodywork prospective and a elecrtical prospective, not to mention the leaking boot etc etc pre facelift lights look better anyway IMO!!
