Bet that got your attention, its just for the Le Mans weekend, e36guy is organising team graphics for all the cars going in our group, but we get to choose the colour
e36guy wrote:
Team graphics will be viper stripes for the bonnet/roof/bootlid plus tourname & Le Mans 2007 and an individual number for each side of the car
Will take me up to 12 stripes for a few days

Anyway I was thinking black but im leaning towards red as it would stand out more Image, but funny enough not too keen on pink

I think black would suit your car well!

I've been keeping a close watch on that LeMans thread, I'm sooo tempted to put my name down! :?
Always wanted to go, I wonder if I can afford it and if my car will get there and back! 8O

I voted silver Paul, Just so it's quite subtle and will not detract from how the car normally looks.

Pink my look nice tho

You would not see silver on a silver car. I kind of want them to stand out so it looks like they are just there for Le Mans and not that I ment to put them on permanently

No I knew the were just for Le Mans, Just think it could look cool being very subtle. All depends on what shade of silver they are using.

I voted Black, it needs to be a complete contrast in my eyes, to stand out, you don't want people to think they are like that normally.

I'm 90% going for definate and have as near as black car and i'll be choosing silver stripes.

Well thats the thing although I have a silver car I have Hartge stripes down each side which are graphite which is a very dark grey, having black stripes they would almost match.

Thats why I was thinking of red as they would be so out of carature people would know they are only there just for Le Mans..

Black on yours for sure - gotta look good in the pics & it'll obviously just be for the weekend as we'll be with 80 odd other cars with the same thing!

What about meeeee? :D

I feel gold or silver are the only choices really...

Convoy would be
We can all get lost at the same time then! 8O

I thought pink would stand out a bit, and if I'm gonna stripe it up and be silly then I might as well go for it! :?

My girlfriend isn't going but I have one potential passenger so far.
Going to try for one or two more passengers to spread the cost and have a laugh! :D

Convoy sounds cool... What day dya think you'll want to head down there? Dover -> Dunkerque?

It's easy enough to find... I managed last summer anyway, & that was without the hoards of other Englishmen on the way to the same place!

Well i was thinking about the tuesday or wednesday night at silly o clock to get cheaper boat costs. It works out at the moment £28 return! The only problem is that as of yet i can't garentee that my exams will be finished, they bloody well should be but i can't garentee it. Get there have a fair few days of drinking sight seeing before the real action starts. Dover dunkirk(can you tell i'm english) definatly.

Tuesday (12th) seems a bit excessive (plus it's my birthday!); I reckon driving through Wed night could be spot on. Couple of hours to recover from the drive, then all day Thurs & Fri to stagger around...

Be good if we get it sorted now - bound to be cheaper on the ferry...

I have booked Thursday, Friday and Monday off work so doing an overnight crossing would be good

I did Portsmouth to Le Harve last time, its a longer crossing but cuts down on the boring motorway bits.

Same days that I booked off today.

Wed night at silly o clock seems to be the general consesus then. a 12 crossing allowed me to get to Paris before rush hour before, so thats my suggestion. Would give the workers 5 hours to get to dover as well.
