just my opinion, but they look crap!
Far better drilling a hole in the mirror covers and feeding the wires through the door.

Mine are fitted as smithy said, but i do think they look very smart 
, and the sound must be better as the tweeters are in a better position (high frequency sound being more directional).

Mine are also as Smithy said, but the ones featured look pretty good IMO.
This would be a good option where there is already something behind the mirror housing, like the mirror control.
