Rear light question heeeeellllp

Guys, i am trying to get a set of rear clusters for my 325i 1990 (H) reg convertible done from Dipz but the question he just asked me has left me confused.

What does your reverse lights look like upwards or sideways?

I really dont know because when i bought the car the lights it came with are the after market ones wherby they are white along the top and red along the bottom.

i looked at some pics of 1990 (H) and they come in both styles so i dont know what answer to give dips does anyone really know the answer..HEeeeelp

and if you have the plastic trim fill panel between the lights you have the later type too...

i have measured the lights on there and they are 18 inches in length and 6.5 inches in width. The shape of them looks like the bottom picture wherby they are longer at the bottom half.

so would that be the older ones or the newer ones???

post a pic of rear of the car. You can tell if its facelift or not just looking at the lights. If its more of a rectangular shape with no curve where the number plate is, its pre face, if it has a curve ie like the one on that green cab its facelift. Lights you got on sound like the ones I've had which the crystal clear ones.

wasnt 1990 the year they change the cab to facelift.

yep he probably could have, i had smileys on mine and it mine aint a facelift cab.
