Fitting tweeters in door?

I noticed on a previous post B.Moore said there are wires already in place to fit tweeters, is this on all E30's?

I've got component speakers and want to put the tweeters on the doors but can't find these wires anywhere?

Before I start drilling holes though i'd better ask...

The wires are behind the foot well speaker panels. You may have to grope around a bit but they should be there. The other end is obviously behind the mirror blanks.

The only wires i've got behind the mirror blanks are the ones for the electric mirrors? Is it apart of that plug? if it's meant to be obvious I think my car missed this part of the production line!!

i found my wire's a little bit below the mirror cover

Found them!! Loads of fishing but got it!!

Thats great, you've just saved me loads of time. Tweeters are working just need to put the footwell speakers in, mounting them on an MDF backing.
