I have been thinking about fitting the tec2 side pods and skirts and leaving the tec1 front and rear valance.
I know there was a pic of a cab on the zone already that had done this but I cant decided what to do.
What do you guys think??
Thanks
Neil

I have given uo with trying to get Tech 1 side skirts on my cab. Instead, Dips painted the car under the sill so it looks deeper side on. Have a look at the next Ace meet.
You're right that there was a car on here with both Tech 1 & 2 and it looked sweet. I think it was for sale recently.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
please please dont ruin your cab by sticking some plastic slabs on the side, nothing worse then the tech 2 side skirts and door skirts, they were obviously invented by a drunk stoned German hell bent on the eighties, they are not even cool by way of their ugliness, they are just simply disgusting. cab sill look just fine just the way they are.

oh yes now I look closely
at the two pictures above, I can see he has the later foglights
I think I'd quite like a tech1 rear - cos the rear boot-wells are so much smaller on the pre-facelift I think it would balance the look from the side? Have you got a side picture please Neil?

when you select reverse gear at night, do you have to have night-vision goggles to see anything behind you?
I think both cars are top dollar, prime examples of tech1 and 2...

as for reverse lights....here in the middle east labour is cheap, so i carry a small boy in my boot, next to the sub-woofer, when i need to get out of a tight spot i ring him up on the phone i kindly provided for him, he climbs out of the boot and shines a torch behind my car, he has learnt to jump back in to the boot sharpish when the reverse lights go out and i select drive... its a system that works well.
