My E30 came with a white dial kit which was all dirty and looked awful!
I changed it back to black clock faces but kept the red needles, I think it looks better.

They look spot on Tony :cool: not chav at all...

What did you type of paint did you use to get them red? and any type of brush...Sorry for the Q's, wanted to do this small but effective mod too.

Pal,i used orange aerosol!

I once did a set in an old E***rt i had years ago,used touch up brush that time and found they weighed the needles down a touch,hence false readings :mad:
Figured aerosol being `dust` it might be better!

I removed all the needles and sprayed,only one i didnt remove was the economy gauge,masked round and under that instead.

i dont see why having red dials is a chav thing, not as if your putting multi coloured ones and besides if you personally like them, then all power to you, your the one driving car having to look at it, not anyone else! :)

sort had too, its the only colour that sticks out enough!

Needles done with modelling aerosol & chrome rings from Armaturing.de.
Crap pic, but in real life it looks pretty good IMHO.

Yea they look kool, Couldnt notice what you changed when i 1st looked at it, couldnt even remember what colour they were anyway...
