I want to fit my alpine head unit but when I took the old tape deck out I noticed someone had butchered the wiring when they put it in :x so now I want to get a proper plug and solder it in, instead of the the twisted wires and sticky tape its got now. Has anyone got a wiring diagram for the cars speakers and power suply? Or at least be able to tell me wire colours and where they go.

Thanks

dude its easier to just work it out get the live, ignition and ground in, and then its just trial and error for the speakers, get bullet crimp connectors to them all and just switch around until you get the right wire for the right speaker.

use a multimeter to get the live and ignition,

and brown or black is the ground ;)

sorted.

i just finished installing a new head unit.

find the purple/brown (i think) wire check with a test light. this wire should come on power with the ignition. hook this wire to the wire with the tag "acc" then find a constant live wire i used the big red wire in the loom and hook that to the wire on the h/unit that says "battery" or "bat". the brown wire is the earth. i think the white wire is the elctric aerial hook this to your aerial output and any cd stackers or amps to this wire all together.

hope this works i have a stacker and electric aerial and everythings working. the wires with one yellow and and one yellow witha brown stripe are one side of the speakers and i think the other is orange and orange with a brown stripe. but i suggest using the new wires that came with your speakers for more control and sound quality.

hope this helps.
