bumper Question

will bumpers from a 1990 model fit my 1986 model?
i'm looking to de-chrome and i can get both newer bumpers from another car.

also, are both front and rear valances bolted in place or welded?

The front valance is bolted on and the rear one is part of the rear panal.
The bumber mounts are diffrent but I am sure they can be made to fit.
Why not spray the metal bumpers ?

the metal ones i have at the moment are rotten, i like the chrome ones but i think getting decent replacements would be a hard task?

You can buy them from euro car parts.

thank's ED, i never thought of looking for a bumper there!! ... i only need the corner sections for the rear and euroCP have them Ԛ£20 each and Ԛ£25 for the centre section if i decide to change that to

thats 1 thing off the list
