I've seen a few photos out there showing E30s with the rubber rub strips (on the doors) painted to match the body colour.
Anyone on board ever try that? I'm assuming that because they're soft, that some sort of flex agent would be necessary to prevent the paint from cracking the first time it gets whacked.
Any thoughts/experience?

would be smart to have a solid colour without the break-up, but if someone opens a door on you thats the first thing itԚ´ll see
and i wouldnt want to be you when you come back to the motor to see what somme lemmon has gouged in your door
