my mate has a -35mm kit on his 16V calibra and it's actually really nice! quite firm but no hitting bump stops or anything.

if you're looking for cheap stuff, jamex can be found for about £180 on ebay.... depending on model.

the spax adjustable kit cost me £350 ,i changed it for bilsteins though as even on the softest setting it was very harsh.is it really nessesary to have 28 settings on a shock absorber

Don't think you'll get a real answer, I doubt any-ones ever done real back to back testing of the different shocks on offer!

On the bilsteins what struts did you have B8 are the best and you can use Apex or your springs...available at good prices...or the Bilstein B12 kit comes with springs but not as low as you want to go...let me know if want any further info prices, delivery times etc

Best springs are EIbach in my opinion matched with B8 struts but not the cheapest and wont be able to lower to 60mm the cars were not designed to be lowered this far, if you do you will have to accept problems

Good luck
