but confusing when he mentioned Cabrio hood, i.e the fabric bit over where one would sit!!

so to answer your question in both respects

A: I have never seen a four door cab (unless you count the hood and trunk as doors!! but then you should count the glove box, fuel (gas) filler door, cabrio hood enclosure door)

B: All E30 hoods are the same either four door or 2 door (and the only common body panel with the M3, that goes for the metal bit over the engine and the fabric bit over the seats!)

my question was would a hard top bonnet fit on a cabrio..... and if it did....did it matter if the bonnet came off of a 4 door or a 2 door hardtop........

i am looking for a bonnet for my cabrio..... just need to know if the bonnet for a cabrio is a cabrio only part......

All the bonnets ar the same on a E30 mate touriong, cab or saloon. They shoudl all go straight on
