hi guys ive got a 2 door e30, and ive got a chrome line running around the windows.

ive now got hold of the rear windows off a 325i sport wich open. only thing is the outline on that window is in black, and my car trim is in chrome.

ive removed the chrome strip off my old window and tried to fit it to the new windows, but i dnt think its gna work as the fittment on the trims are sliightly different.

therefore i am thinking bout gettin rid of the chrome, and changin it all to black.

how do i go bout this guys?? any DIY jobs i could do, or will i have to remove the trim from another car.

cheers lads

If you take your time it can be painted without removing it. I think some people on here have used a kind of black de-chrome tape with good results too.
