1989 'E' 318i E30. Hi all, I've just bought a new Kenwood head unit to replace the tape/radio blaupunkt unit. My new cd head unit has the lock power connector on it. My question is as stupid as it might seem, what connector does the blaupunkt radio have on it?? Many thanks to anyone that can help

I think you need to swap around your 12+ and accessory live wires

As above really, there should be a yellow wire and a red wire coming from the rear of the head unit, both of these should have bullet type connectors, simply pull them apart and attach the red wire to the yellow and the yellow to the red. Its quite a common thing to have to do and will take all of 2 mins.
