Is this actually legal?

I'd like to try this on my car and see what it looks like, what do i need ?

Have you looked at the tech article (link at the top of the page)? That explains what you need to do... :thumb:

As for whether they're legal, I'm not 100% sure! The original Hella ones are, & my diy versions have gone through the MOT without a problem, so I can't see why they wouldn't be. I think some European countries have a rule that you're not allowed to tamper with lights at all, but I'm not aware of anything like that here...
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

I was thinking about making them smoked hellas using that article but it seemed so confusing!

have you got any pictures of it with the lights on?
