Anyone got an Alpine CDM 7871r fitted in there car?

Im after a user manual for one,or at least some advice how to control changer?

could you post up a pic of the front face, normally , there should be a old skool "source" button, to flick through radio and tape and whatever conencted, click through until you get source is cd changer, then its a up and down normally?? or if its like the more modern ones, push a folder looking button, then up and down? cant remember.. get a pic up mate

I got this head unit to go with an Ai net changer i already had.
Didnt realize this head unit was MBUS? so bought a connector from car audio direct,fitted the changer today and it loads up fine,set the menu to AUX on,plays tuner and CD in main player fine but nothing from the changer-does all that make any sense?

Ill take a pic of it now,but dont laugh,it only cost £41

too small a pic! though doesnt look too bad a cd player!

i hope ur not using mp3 cds, test with a full rack dont use anyhing in normal, all original cds. can you hear the cd changer loading at all??

Changer is loading up fine,think its something im not doing on the stereo?????

Ill go and press some buttons on it now,excuse to go out for a cig,see if i cant sus it out

Seems i cant use the Ai net changer with MBUS head unit even with the convertor lead(B4stard)so looks like ill have to upgrade 1 of the 2 units again!

Anyone want to buy either 1 of them?
