Hello,
im rubbish with electrical stuff but im trying to wire up my car stereo again and im not too sure on what the wires are.
so i took a picture of the wires

im guessing the blue ones are the front speakers and the yellow ones are the back???
If the yellow ones are the back speakers how do i know which ones are for which side?
And what ones are the power ones?
stereo wire problem

The red wire is the switched with the ignition, the yellow is a permanent live, and there should be a black ground wire in there somewhere.
The best thing to do to figure out what speaker wires go where is to remove one of the parcel shelf speakers and have a look as they're easy to get at. By what colour goes to that speaker should give you a clue as to how they're split front to back and left to right.

not sure about the above
i may be wrong but, you see the bunch of wires that are highlighted are your power cables,
brown is ground/earth
red and yelllow is your power
there is another one which controls it from ignition, pretty sure its not the one purply one, it should be in that bunch
the purple one you dont use.
