Centre Armrest E30

Has anybody fitted a centre armrest from an E36 into an E30 and do you need the hanbrake surround under housing.

Alternatively has anybody fitted the 'American availble version for the e30 and how much was it - where to buy from etc.. ?

i think DaveD has the e30 version fitted that bolts onto the rear centre console

not sure about the e36 rest and surround
isnt the handbrake on the wrong side of the console for an e36 to fit??

i thought of an e46 armrest but as above handbrake is on the right not left
so console wouldnt be useable??
so not sure how youd get around this??

I got one from America, and I have to say with a short shift it is the best mod I have made to the car. Relativly easy to fit, and it's now covered in grey leather too, to match the new interior for the touring!
