I'd go with a black grill on any colour E30 apart from Black. I'm still not sure if it looks okay on a black car or not

I've got a black grille to go on my diamond black touring - will post some pics if i ever get a chance to fit it!!

Can you buy smoked headlights then??
I remember seeing about people doing it themselves by taking them apart and painting something black, but if you can buy them off the shelf, i'll have a set!!

Any ideas on how to smoke the foglights a touch?? Don't wanna block out all the light that they give off though!!

I've just put my chrome one back on. Still can't make my mind up!

The chrome makes the headlights look darker, but the black one looks mean as fuck...

Why not just pick up a spare grill from a scrappy & give it a go? Takes literally 10 seconds to change it!

Hella started it all. If you can find them (and have around £300 spare) then genuine Hella smokes are the way to go 8)

All the DIY versions are done basically the same way that Hella do it - just cheaper. It does however take a lot of patience to get the dIY versions to look like the real deal.
