Hi Guys

Im after some advice i have some sony 5 1/2's in the rear of the car and some sonys in the front.

Im considering mids and tweeters for the front will i benefit from mid's and tweeters in the front????

I will be amoping the speakers up over the bank holiday weekend.

Neil,

Your defo get benefit from putting some tweets in the front.. try and get some tweeter pods for the front that take the place of yer wing mirror covers on yer door..they come up now and then here and Ebay..i got mine from here and replaced the OE tweeter with a nice lil Alpine number :)

If youve got decent speakers already in the back then Amping them up along with the front will really make a difference,your be surprised..

If i were you id get a set of conponents which are yer Mids and Treble for the front.. stick yer Mids in the footwells and fix yer tweeters to yer mirror covers untill you can get yer hands on the proper tweeter pods,amp them up along with yer rear speakers and yer good to go..

When youve got a bit more cash laying about got the whole hog and get yerself some extra Base for the boot

I've got a 12inch dual voice coil jbl in the boot with a 300rms amp running it, now im install my keny 4 channel to run the speakers, im gonna go mids and tweet up front as u suggested and leave the rear as is.
