I've just bought another E30 for parts. It's got Alpina reps on, but when I've taken the centre caps off the wheels, there's eight stud holes. I've had a carefull look and they haven't been drilled, but seem to be cast this way. The reps on the Baur have four holes
I'm worried about the lack of metal between each pair of holes. Has anyone else got this type of wheel and have they had any problems?
Can't seem to get away with hosting pics, but here's a link

Hi, there's two types of Alpina reps on offer.
One style has the square edged rim and the other has a rolled rim, you have the square rimmed ones made by BK? and the multi stud pattern you mentioned is standard to that rim unfortunately but nether the less still safe.
Nelly sold a set to Adam (e30bemer) exactly the same as yours and have never had any problems, also the set you have is the stronger of the two types
