See the four holes on the outside of the unit - shove pieces of stiff wire in them and wiggle them around as you pull the unit - luckily I have the right tool for that job, but I am a bit far away from you!

See the two holes at either end of the unit, you can get a radio removal key from your local halfrauds for about £4.99, i think thats a ford fitament one. Then you just put them in and it will pull out. Alternatively if you have two longish screwdrivers poke them in and wiggle them about a bit and it should pop out, do a side at a time, unless you have 4 long screwdrivers!

Or wait three weeks and i'll have it out in 10 secs if its your shitter or your cab.

I thought the 4 holes were miniature screws, I had a little screwdriver in there

Cheers guys, I'll give that a go. Feel sorry for the paperclips :(

Zay you'll appreciate a decent head unit so much better, guaranteed, just need prongs to release it, easy job done.

Nope. Lots of mangled plastic as well where it seems someone's tried to take it off before without any luck. Gonna get my little brother to do it tomorrow with the promise of a fiver if he manages - he will almost definitely get it off if there's money on offer

I did spend about 10 minutes trying this afternoon though, got pretty frustrated with it :-x
