Just wondering what your views were on the seidl body kit for the e30 !. I was thinking of using the front bumper. Whats the deal ? are they hit or miss.

ruins the lines of the car IMO, but each to their own!

i think the whole thing as a package looks ok,dont think it would work as a mix and match using other bits though.i like to see people try different things though, instead of always going the tried and tested route that everyone else does.go for it if thats what your after

Exactly, I wanted to try something different. I had trouble sourcing some parts for my e30 cab, mainly I could not find me a m-tech 2 front valance in time, and so had to look at other options. I came across this bumper. And for 100notes brand new, its not too bad. My cab is macau blue, and has the m-tech 2 kit on it minus the front valance, and this is the only bumper that I thought looked half decent, esp once painted in blue. Thanks for the comments. Keep em comming.fuzzy wrote:i think the whole thing as a package looks ok,dont think it would work as a mix and match using other bits though.i like to see people try different things though, instead of always going the tried and tested route that everyone else does.go for it if thats what your after

Forget all this bodykit malarky, a decent set of rims and decked really set E30's off, a lot to do with the lines of the car.

i quite like it to be honest
this is the first bumper i wanted when i first got my e30
instead of having the same tech 2 as everyone else
but the euro style im going for i dunno i prefer breyton
but that pic i can imaging with that blacked out grill and mouth
all the way along would look mean as fuck
this is the pic that made me like the seidl tuning one though

i think its alright for an aftermarket kit, they are expensive to buy though, front bumper is the best in that kit not keen on their rear one.

That car looks nice.. Dont listen to them lot ^
But as said,it looks nice as a package.. you couldnt use that kit without FAT Rims... but in a whole i thing that car looks very good
If yer looking to go for the whole package then id say go for it but thats a Shed load of money sitting on the e30

I have always preferred the standard styling or reiger infinity if kitted. However I quite like the lumma one. Doubt I would get it but this looks quite cool.

hehe, yeah those lil "cruise" lights (wa***r lights), bumper would look nicer without them.

hi guys this is my present front bumper. its been on now for nealy a year, im in 2 minds to go tech 2 as it has tech2 kit all round. ill be honest e30 owners and lovers who find it realy hard to look to a different kit say it looks ok. a few said nah not on an e30. but 90 so percent like it. myself somedays i do somedays i dont its just 1 of those things, what i will say though is these kind of kits are never as strong as the orig, tech 1 or tech2 once you get a crack or something they start looking dodgy lol and you realy got to put extra effort into the bumper then when cleaning and polishing to make it look half decent. but i thought i would show the bumper as it looks kinda like the other ones. link> URL=http://imageshack.us][IMG]http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/8170 ... age00033rd

i just bought that same bumper that black soul has on his car, sitting in my house at the moment getting ready to be sprayed and fitted! Having seen the pic, I'm gonna go for a darker mesh as that stands out too much and is a bit overbearing. Have you got any more pics of your car, diff angles etc.?
BTW that looks cool!

hi yeah ill get some new pics done as i have just bought a new camera and im going to shoot mine and my brothers new cab togeather.plus that pic was taken back last august. and the mesh was quite bright then but its worn in now and does not look so silver lol. 1 thing gouki treat the fu**ing thing like glass as they aint very strong mate. maybe ill paint the mesh black dont know. im at a point now where its going to go that way or back tech2 and look all proper:) but as i have been realy honest about the pros and cons on this front end i will add the car does get tons of looks. but that could also be due to the fact there is only about 5 e30 convertibles around my area and 1 of them belongs to my brother lol. so there a rare sight. also what lowering kit have you got on your ride gouki. also when is the next welsh meet going to be? cheers guys for your comments.

I'm assuming your bumper is full fibreglass, dont know if its the same as yours but mine is GRP and it seems stronger plus it doesnt have that funny smell you get from it. I'm using 25mm AVO Springs all round and they been good so far. I had 60mm springs previously and they gave me problems as I got a kit and it sits quite low. Thought the 25mm would have been too much of a raise but the wheels sit nicely under the arches plus i have better clearance over speed humps. And as for chaing to an M-tech one you could but there hard to come by plus that looks nice as it is, wouldnt change it but thats me

no dont do it, if you want to put anything on it put on either tech 1 if your car is an old skool, or tech 2 for the newer model.

i reported the first image as offensive/adult material in the hope they will ban it
looks like it has crashed into a chest of draws, but i am not into aftermarket body kits!!
modding a car with such a kit is not done to please anyone but yourself, opinions will vary wildly, so if you like it and have enough money then get it, but if you try to sell such a beast........ speak to Bootyman on how much his blue cabby is worth compared to money spent!!
