HAs anyone got a drawing/dimensions/template of the inserts that you have to make when making your own smoked hella style headlights?

i made my own using a piece of cardboard and sissors, then used the cardboard as a template to make the metal/plastic real things.

How 'bout the next person who makes some, scans them (with a scale) so that the pic can be added to the tech article? I'll be doing some soon (got the lights waiting
) so I'll scan em in if I make some before anyone else does!

i had planned on doing that myself but glued em together as i forgot
Doh!!!!
also worth noting that if you are fitting angel eyes that its best to make your own as they need modifying to fit, hence why mine are also at 45degrees in the tech article and not parallel to the floor like the originals

I actually had some downloaded and machined to fit, they just need a lil trimming. made in 1mm stainless, look very good and fit extremely well. Got angel eyes so never bothered fitting them in the end. Think I may still have the link somewhere.

Bugger bugger bugger... now I can't find the file.
I think I sourced it from either Simon or from an American based E30 site... erm, damn it. Can't even remember THAT name now... he's the guy with the 2.8 litre 'stroker' E30 from the U.S.
Some use I am.

Edit: Jordan rings a bell...

I wouldn't bother making the lugs on that template though, I did mine smooth, and just glued them to the inside of the lamp.
