Best speakers in your opinion? in front.... MB Quart? Boston

Need to sort the sounds out in the e30 currently got a set of ground zeros in the footwell and pioneers 6x9s up back got a baseline and a half from the back but not much up front

been looking at mb quart 213 but their £200 has anyone got any other options for the oem spot, or any ideas how i could improve the sound up front.

Personally, I've always liked DLS speakers - though last time I bought some CDT's on recommendation, though I never actually got to fit them before some eejit wrote the cabby off for me!!! They're in waiting for my next!!!
I had some top end JL's and found them way too harsh & just way too much treble!!!
Using some second hand Rainbow coax in the front of my touring at the mo and they sound ok considering how poorly I've fitted them and with no carpet, etc in the car!!!

It is a personal thing though - best thing is if you can actually hear some before you buy, but that's easier said than done!!!
The amp will have an impact on the sound too.

Obviously what type of music you listen to and how loud you want it will affect your choice too!!!

I'm planning on making some door builds and these are too small. I want to go 6.5" or bigger.
