im thinkin of cleanin up and sprayin most parts under the car. is powder coating teh best way and how do i do it?

Powder coating gives a nice finish, but is not diy. You need to find a powder coating firm in your area for more details, such as price and what prep needs doing for each piece.

can i just normally spray them myself or would it not last. wot paint would i use

Some high temp paint should work well.

depends which bits your doing, even a hammerite smooth spray gives a good finish,in a good choice of colours, but powdercoating gives a much longer lasting good finish but more expensive.

can hammerite be used in a paint gun? wot parts would need to be high temp :?

i suppose hammerite paint can be thinned down to be used in a spray gun,never tried it personally though,just used the spray cans. the only bits needing heat paint would be engine parts themselves i think, if your doing things like control arms and suspension struts etc, hammerite would be fine.

great thats wot i thought 8) already got the rockercover and inlet manifold done usin high temp paint. thanks for the help
