radio removal

hi.want to remove the radio from the car. but cannot see any holes to push a removal tool into.its a pioneer unit circa 1988 fitted when car was new it has a handle on the front so looks like it should just pull out but dosent .any ideas thanks chris

If you're still stuck, ask on the talkaudio forum - someone there will definately know!!!

Pretty sure the ones with the handle did pull out, but I would assume there is some kind of easy release button on the front panel or somewhere - otherwise it would just fly out when you accelerate!!!
