Just for track use really, in trying to do my own work on the e30 but my front shocks have a lip on for the front springs to sit on, these done have that so where do the springs sit on the shocks?

Hi mate you dont replace the hole strut on a E30 just the insert. Clamp and remove spring remove dust cover undo coller and insert/damper will now pull out! Hope this helps
