Had one in my old E36 and it was ok from memory although I changed to aftermarket.Think to fit it in an E30 properly you would need to graft an E36 or similar plug onto your original radio wires.
Possible you could buy an ISO lead off the shelf for a straight fit but not something I know about.

Okay cheers mate think il just go for an aftermarket head unit I just like the look off an original head unit in a 30
