245 back on a E30?

Is it anyone here that have 245 back on their E30? Thinking of 9x18 alloys and 245/35-18 would fit the rims perfect. Or should I get 225/35 instead?

245's would be too wide and you will have rubbing issues, serious one i might add. I'd go for 225/30's mate. The Germans fit 225's on 10" rims so it cab be done. It streches the tire walls nicely to clear the arches. I've got 275/30/18's on 12" rims at the back of my car. Anyway goodluck
