Looking at some new rims for the touring.

I've seen the same alloy offered in 7 x15 and 8 x15, and supplied with 205 55 15 tyres.

My touring is lowered 70/50.

The question is: Will there be any issues with the 8x15 rims?
Also, will the standard 205s be stetched on an 8'' rim?

If it's to much hazzle I'll stick with a 7'' rim.

Cheers :D

Depends what the offset is but id go 8j, yes 205 will stretch on it but proper size would be 225.
Wont be any hassle imo its when you go 9j and above when you get problems but again the offset is crucial.

Got a link to the wheels?

Another zoner posted about these wheels last week. The do look nice to be honest, but he had problems with laquer peel and the bolts falling out after only 2 week. I think the thread was in the general section.

Thanks for the heads up....I'm ready to buy but still dithering. I just wish they didn't have those damn bolts in the first place.
