Im thinking of buying a din sat nav unit ( blaupunkt Travel pilot) which uses GPS of course but as a back up need to be connected to the speed pulse. I currently have an 1990 316i auto ( M40 ) which i think has a electronic speed sensor. Anyone else fixed one of these units into an e30 and how esy is it to hook up the speed wire? - i imagine this wire will also contol volume on some uints ie louer the faster you drive.
Any help will be all good.
In a bout a year the old e30 may die so it will be 6 pot e36 time so if anyone know how to to the same job on these aswell it would be a right bonus.
