Looking to get a set of 8x16" wheels for the E30.

After doing a bit of research it seems a lot of people go for an offset of ET25 with these? Although I have seen ones with an offset of ET15. Would that be better?

With the offset of ET25 it seems people have to run a spacer, could I work round this and go for perfect offsets so I dont need spacers? Or should I just keep it simple and go for ET25 with spacers......

Was planning on Image as a supplier therefore I'm guessing I can have whatever offset I want within reason.

Basically, what am I best going for?

Cheers

James.

Speak to Dan320is he has some 16x8's fitted.. I would run et15 personally, although the arches will need some love.

Dan, thanks for the reply, I would of gone for ET15 too.

I see Dan320is is running ET25 with spacers I think. Hmmmm. Cars getting painted so rolling the arches prob wont be a problem....

I have 16x9 with et 15, 205/40 tyres, 70/50 drop. The front arches are untouched but the rears needed rolling. I'm now running 215/40 on the rear and they needed even more tweeking to stop them rubbing.

8j's should ideally be ET 20 to ET18 and will fit without work

Thanks for the feedback guys, haven't been on for a while.

Hmmm, difficult to make a decision, ET18 would obviously be the safe bet then, no work and still sit quite wide, however i'm tempted in ET15 but then it needs arch work........

Need to be able to run decent size tyres too and not majorly stretched.
