Hi,
I've been working to try to get my Motorised antenna to work properly and thought I'd just record my findings for any future people as I couldn't find a definitive answer.
The wires on mine are:
Red - Ignition +12v
White - Remote Aerial
Black...obv. Coax - Transmitting signal
Then my car had 3 others that I wasn't sure of, so I'll detail these as well:
2 Red - One is +12v constant and the other is +12v ignition, you will need to attach a multimeter to one of them to determine which one has the +12v without the ignition on, check the other one as well just to be sure that there is no voltage with ignition off, but there is voltage with ignition at position 1.
Brown - Chassis Earth
Just an FYI for my car, I'm sure it's different for others! Also, I'm sure someone else might have full, definitive info on wiring, in which case it would be great if they could post it here and then Sticky?
