I'm sure this is a topic that's been discussed on here before, but I want to fit an arm rest to my Tourer and I'm stuck.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to start ?Has anyone modified one from another model or manufacturer that can point me in the right direction ?
I find myself leaning on the passenger seat while driving and it's a little uncomfortable.

an E30 is available but costs stupid money and are available from the manufacturer in Germany (they were made by a 3rd party for BMW and offered as an optional extra), better off fitting one from an E36 or an even cheaper universal one.

now that one from the wood company doesn't seem half bad, no prices for it though.

Thanks for the info.
All things considered I've gone for the universal fit with the intention of having the plastic padded top refitted with black leather to match the rest of my interior.
Will attempt to post a couple of pics when I get it fitted.
