Hi Gents

I am looking to get my dash flocked and interested in flocking the rear seat area since the rear seats have been removed and I am looking at ways to tidy it all up.

Can anyone recommend a good company in the South West/Gloucestershire area who could also fabricate something for the rear door cards and parcel shelf as well as do the flocking?

Also - would a dash out of a face lift E30 fit in my pre-face lift 1986 one?

Thanks

I have found a place in Banbury which looks good.

Does anyone know about the dash and if there is a difference? I am thinking of taking the spare one I have (face-lift) to get it flocked, the put it into my car. Would hate to do that if there was a slight difference between the two.

Reason for this is that the original dash is cracked and the Flocking place said they would have to repair the cracks first. So makes sense to use the spare dash?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

it would be ideal to use the cracked dash as the "flockers" can simply fill the cracks with the resin coating they use so the flock sticks, the cracks would be repaired for good and literally invisible. then sell off the good dash you have to contribute towards the cost.

cruizer, i don't know what hunty is paying, but there is a company in notts who wanted around £100 per complete dash (dash, glove, centre consoles and the under steering panel) if 2 or more were taken in at a time.

Thanks Gents

The company I am looking at are www.banburyflockingservices.com I think a dash is about £100 but not had that priced up yet as I am looking at having the rear seat area done too.

They quoted £255 for a dash and 4 door cards.

Was thinking of getting the dash repaired but need to see what the charge is for that. It also means that there will be minimum time that the car is without a dash doing it the replacement way.

I plan to visit them soon to check it all out.

Thanks again
