IM doing a 60/40 drop so hoping I wont have the problem on the rears.Hyperion wrote:one of the main problems is the 60mm drop gives your rear tyres a weird camber, which eats up your rear tyres quicker.
I know there are a few people with 60/60 drops but from what I have heard from the Zone 60/40 is the best compromise

is there no way to correct the camber with a 60/60 ??

My mate has a 325 4dr with a 60/60 drop, its very low, speed humps are a no no, but other than that its fine. Eats rear tyres though, but having said that i had a sierra with the same drop, and that ate rear tyres too!

It rakes a bit, Its more 60/50 I got a load of junk in the back.
The wheel arches filled propley.
BMW are aloud too rake eg e36.
(But not too much rake - makes me bring out the fluffy dices and furry steering wheel)

Even wheel arch gaps front & rear always works well.
No idea how much of a drop I'm running prob60 or 65 front & rear, Ledas & race springs, hate speed bumps, hate hate hate them but they do keep the centre exhaust box nice & shiny underneath

i'm sure mine is running 60/40 but the car came to me as it is in my sig pic, so can't be exact on that. I catch the centre box on the exhaust system on some speed humps. Negative camber on the rears does my nut in, wearing the inside edge prematurely. Nearly bid on a new rear beam with negative camber correction, but it was in Ilford.
Got to admit, I do love the rake on egk's red E30, think it is accentuated with the front spoiler and absence of side skirts etc, simple yet effective.
