Eyebrows

Just having my grille eyebrows colour coded at the painters. Before I fit them, will I need to adjust the bonnet at all because the clearance between the front of the bonnet edge and the top of the grille is very close. I'm scared that once the eyebrows are fitted the bonnet will touch (and damage) the painted eyebrows when it opens and shuts... Has anyone else had to do this?

Yes they do touch the bonnet. but the marks left on the grille by opening and closing the bonnet are hidden when it's shut.
