Quick Q re Spax

My 325i SE was already lowered when I bought it and looking through the paperwork in the glovebox (reciept from Spax) noticed that it refers to a 51mm lowering kit.

Would this be right?, never heard of 51mm drop and always assumed it was either 40 - 60 mm. Have a look in the Gallery if you want to see it under "My 1989 325i SE"

Want to reduce the space between wheel and arch and almost have the wonga for 17's but will I need to drop it another 9mm

51mm struts...... basically means you have 325i 51mm front struts, rather than the 49? on the smaller engine e30's

its not the amount the cars lowerd
