hi peps im installing my headunit and have had to run my own cables for power and earth, ive ran direct from the battery a line to the yellow cable at the back of the headunit, ive ran the black earth cable to metal under the centre console, but there is still a red cable to attend to and it says AAC on it.
the problem im having is, im getiing illumination on the headunit but its not actually turning on? does this AAC cable need to be attached to something? im baffled can someone help??

You sure it's not ACC?
If it is, then it needs to be wired so it's powered when the ignition is swithed on

If the yellow lead is marked as +12v then it should have power at alll times(radio station memory/where it was on the cd when you stopped etc)
