Hi, doing my rear lights all red and wondering which tinting spray to buy and where from. Doesn't say on the tech sheet and it must be important tyo get the right shade. Also there is no mention of laquering after i've sprayed them. Don't they look funny without or will they still look alright. Ta.
Also anyone know a good alloy re-furb shop in the berkshire area who could also powder coat/paint my bbs?

Yeah, I got mine from the Motorists Centre, so you'd have better luck looking in smaller shops.
There's just about enough for both sides in there by the way.

I got it from Here
Zayyan: I used a bit too much at first. It'll fade a bit in time (as long as you haven't put a clear laquer over it)
I would also suggest using a metal polish called "Peak". Brings the lights up nicely after spraying

I used the foliatec stuff in the small tin from Halfrauds and got robbed for Ԛ£15 notes for the stuff. But I have to say I think the colour is spot on and there's plenty in the tin. But...... I'm an inpatient dickhead and put way too much on too soon and the paint has run & bubbled where the indicator curves around the side, so it looks horrid and I'll have to start over again
Recommendations for getting the paint off the clusters then? I have some ATF fluid in the garage

ive used the foliatec stuff before, it ran easy and it was a dull finish when dry
this time round i called at my local paint shop and asked them if they could mix a bit of red basecoat in with clearcoat into an aerosol.
think it cost about Ԛ£8, it was a lot nicer to apply than the foliatec (didnt run), left a nice shiny finish, and there's probably enough to do another 2 sets of lights (the can was twice the size)
