the pictured set is Euro 2.690,-
Without the full alloy hex nut but standard Style 5 center cap they are Euro 300,- less.
And you need to have 5x120 lug pattern. I'm working on a 4x100 version but it's not ready yet.

I would be interested in modifying a set.
If thats possible, whats involved?. No dodgy welding.

good luck with finding the outer lips :D
I get them custom made to fit the RC centers. But if you find someone who can do them I'd be interested to compare prices. I get them made by a German company and Germany is not exactly cheap. :?

BTW, if you don't need your own wheels refurbished but leave centers and rear barrels the way they are I can do it cheaper. Euro 400,- is what a set of used / non refurbished RC090 sell for in Germany.

you need a set of RC rims and a machine shop and four custom made outer lips plus a set of bolts. No welding required.

Err isn't that what you are paying the money for, someone who is experienced in doing this and has the skills to do it. You can't expect him to guide you through doing your own set when it takes business away from him.

Is this a for sale section? I'm sure its not!
The guy is showing what he has done and i'm asking how its done. I'm not asking for step by step instructions!

Where did I say it was the sales section? Still Wokke is showing what he has supplied for a customer, If it was me I'd be playing my cards very close to my chest.

Well, the way you said isn't that what he's charging? So the first thought that comes to mind is, he's trying to sell.

Anyway, Wokke, i'd be interested in having the lips fitted and thats it, i wouldn't want the centres/barrels refurbed, they have just been done.

Wokke is a well know and respected zoner, I know how good his work is and that he is a trader. You were the one that made comments about the amount he charges.

Is that so? Well, good for you! You want a medal?

So you're trying to say you've never commented on prices people ask for?

Come off it and lets not clutter the guys thread, right?

bizarre, why did a mod just randomly pick an arguement with a guy who was asking about how a guy built some wheels and then accused that person of argueing?

Awesome wheels btw wokke :D

I didn't randomly pick an argument, I was trying to suggest that Wokke may not want to tell how he does something that is his trade. The reply was quite rude imo.

Nothing against anyone, Just the usual internet shite.

Ok, so now if i try to prove what went on, you'l probably make the most of your powers and ban me?

Well, all i'm going to say is the same i've pm'd you, its not the first time you've picked on what i've said. Some mods clearly abuse their powers and have their favourite buddys who they try to defend. Wokke, this does not apply to you, there have been a few occasions where D6DPH has clearly shoved his head in and said i'm in the wrong without even having a thorough read of the relating post(s)

If you have a problem with me, Please raise the issue in another thread. The FAO or Website problems sections would suit best.

I fear you may have a chip on your shoulder, Take a breather before posting again.

Lol, raise the issue with another mod, what the hell with that do?

I'm sure its not long ago, where you continuously repeated, the action against someone can not be decided until you know who the person is, ridiculous or what.

I tell you what, i'm leaving it at that. Next time, unless you really have to, please try to refrain from posting in regards to anything i post (if i do)

OUCH. I never intended to trigger such a discussion.

In principle d6dph is absolutely correct. Wheels are my business and in general I have no intention to publish any DIY instructions on how to do such a modification. In this specific case it won't even help because whoever wants to do it won't get a hold of the correct lips. Inner cut out and bolt pattern are specific and none of the existing BBS , OZ or whatever lips fit the Stye 5 centers. Whoever claims he can do it cheaper just doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

If someone wants a BBS RS like 3-piece rim with custom offset this is pretty much the only way to go. The poor availability of BBS RS212/197 is actually what made me start to think about this entire project.

Why do you have to come along with a provoking comment once everything has calmed down? Have you nothing better to do?

I wonder what all this this has to do with the thread I opened.
In other forums I think this is called thread jacking.
