Got a new Alpine head unit in the E30 which has the I personalize feature which allows me to create settings specific to my vehicle’s speaker location for time correction etc.

you can also personalize some features such as welcome message, I’ve been on the Alpine website where you set everything up and tried burning it to a CD ready to upload to the head unit but it don’t seem to be doing anything.

Can anyone point me in the right direction i.e. what format do I burn the CD in?

The time correction,x-over and EQ settings can, most likely be input directly from the faceplate.

Have a look at this too

Cheers matey i've had a read but it dont really say anything about what format you burn the CD in.

I know most of the functions can be done via the face plate but i wanted to edit the welcome message and wallpaper.

It seems to go on about some MM driver and a HDD unit but i think this may be for the newer units

I'd guess the format would be WMA or MP3

I'd try MP3 to start off with
