What size tyres shoud I fit to a 15x7.5 wheel.

I've been told 195/55/15 or 195/60/15

Surely they should be at least 205 if not 225?

205 / 55 /15 is the correct size for a 15" Wheel.

So the extra 0.5" makes no difference?

If your car is lowered, the sidewall profile is important to stop rubbing on rear arches. E.g. I understand 15" MIM 1900s need a 50 profile to avoid it rubbing on the rear arch using Sport spec springs.

As Mick_318is says, BMW gave 15" BBS wheels 205x55x15 tyres for a reason.

I guess more details would help then, the car is a 325i touring currently unlowered but maybe at some point on mtech suspension and I might be fitting some Ronal ls which are 15x7.5 et25.

So as I understand it at the moment I want 205/50/15 the same tyres as fitted to the standard 15" BBS wheels?
