Right my front lip was buggered by a combination of a drain at Gaydon and then a suicidal bunny rabbit a day later snapped it in 2..

Reiger lips have a tendancy to snap, their a bit more brittle compared to an IS lip.
You could fiberglass it together?, use strong epoxy glue, then if theres chunks out etc fiber glass over the joint and sand down
]
btw you get the cheque mate?

You should be able to weld it together with a solering iron and then fibreglass the back to reinforce it.

Use ABS pipe cement, you can get it a plumbing supply. You put it on one side and once joined in chemically fuses the two materials together and is very strong. That is how I am making my prototype body kit pieces.
