right ive just got my hands on a the fitting kit for rear headrests & i've been through the wiki but all i can find is the guide for fitting them to a touring,
http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/inde ... _Headrests
now what i want to know is will it be the same procedure to fit them in my sport? probably a daft question but i thought i'd ask.
also will the rear headrest fitting kit for a e36 do the job aswell? i've been offered that aswell if i want it.

It is the same procedure, i used the same guide when i fitted RHR to my cabby.
The cut-out for the brackets should already be in the seat foam. It's just a case of lining up the holes and then cutting a little slit in the leather/cloth for the headrests poles to go through.

yeah it's for the sport.
i take it the basic part of the kit is the same?
i did a trial run of the headrests in the back of the touring & they fitted that's why i thought about using it.
let's put it this way free is better than £30 lol.

It'll look good
Just be careful when your cutting the holes for the poles to double check that they line up correctly.
