I'm after an amp to run a sub for now, and further down the line, I'll need another one to run separate speakers which will be actively crossed over.

Can anyone recommend a good sub and good amplifier please?

I don't want a 10,000,000,000W power handling sub, and likewise, I don't want an amplifier that claims to be able to provice a million Watts into 8 Ohms - it's not realistic.

What does everyone have in their motor?

Also, does anyone have a sub in their spare wheel well? If so, what's it like?

All depends on your budget mate. I run JL Audio and it's at the top end of the market and the sound is amasing!. Here's a link to my boot install
