Been asking and looking for a set of wheels for my E30 thats in the process of being M50'd

Been offered a set of Borbet A's 7.5 x 16 (all 4)

Are these going to be wide enough?

What sort of money should i be paying?

Has anyone got 2 x 9 inch to swap for 2 x 7.5 inch so we both have a set of staggered winkeye

(i love the look of them wide at the rear but not so much at the front) Any help much appreciated. Pm me if needed.

Thanks Millsy

There nothing wrong with going 7.5 all round but most people do have a staggered set or 9j all round
i did swap my 7.5 for the 9j just looks a whole lot better in my eyes, if you do go 9j on the front you will need a 5mm spacers, it just depends on what look you want.

i did see you pm`ed me.

Cheers, Ideally id like 7.5 at the front and 9 at the rear.

Im loving the dish look but think 9s too much at the front.

What sort of money should i be expecting to pay for a set of 4 7.5's in good condition (polished rims) with ok tyres?

And whats the chances of someone with 2 x 9'swanting to swap for 2 x 7.5's?

Cheers Millsy

for 7.5 all round i would say £350-430?

staggered set £400-500 ?

9j`s all round £500-600?

it was only by chance i came on here just at the right time but never seen it advertised again.
why do you think 9`s on the front would be too much??

. I just think they stick out too much and have to be so low to look right. I'm having the m50 done and the sump sits lower. Much prefer the staggered look
